Our Cycling Holidays
We provide cycles which are renewed each year and all the ancillary equipment is included in the price, except for helmets. For people who prefer to use their own cycles we give a 5% reduction on the price of your holiday or break.
We will transport your heavy baggage to each stopover so that when you arrive everything will be waiting for you.
We will meet you from either a local rail or bus station and, if you arrive by car, will arrange for free parking.

Somerset Levels
This is a cycle route that covers the edges of Dorset and on to the levels visiting Sherborne, Cadbury Hill, Castle Cary, Somerton, Langport, Ilminster, Ham Hill. Visit the Cider Farms and see how it is made, they also make Cider Brandy! Learn about all the old canals that serviced the Levels at Langport.
This is a five day, four night ride in easy country.

Heart of Dorset
This ride starts off in the in the county town Dorchester and takes to the Saxon town of Wareham at the top of Poole harbour. Then on through forests out onto the edge of Cranbourne Chase and a night in Blandford Forum. A beautiful regency town in the middle of the countryside. Then on to Sherborne well away from the hustle and bustle of modern day life. After Sherborne down to Bridport famous for its rope making and a wonderful Saturday market. Final days ride back along the coastal road taking in the valley to the north of Abbotsbury then on to Dorchester.
A six day, five night ride.

Dorset Country Lanes
This is a six day five night ride though can be greatly extended and covers Sherborne, Cerne Abbas, Puddletown, Blandford Forum, Wimborne, Cranborne Chase, Shaftsbury, and finally Mere in Wiltshire.
A six day, five night ride.
Cost: Low Season £410.75 | High Season £430.25
South Dorset ride
- 1st day: Arrive in Dorchester (Hardy's Casterbridge) and explore this historic County Town.
- 2nd day: Cycle down to the old Saxon walled town of Wareham via Puddletown (Where the Tolpuddle Martyrs were formed). Stay the night in the centre of town.
- 3rd day: Easy cycling visiting Corfe Castle and then on down to the Victorian seaside town of Swanage.
- 4th day: Cycle back to Dorchester via Lulworth Cove and Moreton (Resting place of Lawrence of Arabia) and famous glass engraved windows by Laurence Whistler.
A four day, three night ride.

East Devon and South Somerset ride
- 1st day: Start from Chard in South Somerset after visiting the manor House where Judge Jefferies held his Bloody Assize and cycle into the Blackdown Hills and stay the night at Hemyock, East Devon.
- 2nd day: Leave Hemyock and cycle through East Devon to Broadhembury and Ottery St Mary then onto Beer on the coast for a night of fresh sea air.
- 3rd day: Off into Axminster famous for it's carpets and then back along the River Yarty to Chard.
- 4th day: A pleasant ride along the edge of the Levels to Crewkerne.
A four day, three night ride.

Somerset Levels and West Dorset ride
- 1st day: Leave the Taunton area and an easy ride to the village of Meare Green along the Taunton Bridgwater canal.
- 2nd day: Cycle down to the ancient capital of Wessex, Somerton passing through Langport which used to be a famous port on the levels staying at Somerton Court a fifteenth century manor house.
- 3rd day: Follow part of the South Somerset cycle route through Castle Cary and to Bruton.
- 4th day: Leave the Levels and cycle through Pitcombe, Compton Pauncefoot, Sutton Montis, Corton Denham and Sandford Orcas then across into Dorset and stay in Sherborne.
- 5th day: Leave Sherborne and down to Cerne Abbas see the Giant, and then onto Piddlehinton staying for two nights.
- 6th day: A day of your choice, easy ride down to Wareham or into Dorchester for a wander around this small county town.
- 7th day: Picked up and returned to your car or rail station of your choice.
A seven day, six night ride.

For value our one centred holidays cannot be beaten
Stay in the area such as Norton sub Hamdon and then have access to all the National trust properties in the area such as Montacute House and Barrington Court, also the national Trust gardens at Lytes Carey and Tintinhull as well as the Margery Fish Gardens at East Lambrook. Plus the main gorgeous hamstone villages in the area as well as all the other attractions that are nearby.
Total cost for three days and nights : Low season £185.00 | High Season £197.50 per person in a party of two or more.
For five days and nights : Low season £307.50 | High Season £322.50 per person in a party of two or more.

None of these rides will take you to the extreme, though there are some steep hills in Isle of Purbeck, around Shaftsbury and East Devon.
